ARMADA|ARV100

A new size of ARV that seems to be able to enjoy all of free skiing with one unit!

ARV 100|D=128-100-120mm (179cm) |R=18m (179cm) |L=158, 165, 172, 179, 186cm |¥104,500

◆ Official HP / https://armadaskis.jp/

A new size appears in the ARV series of ARMADA! Among them, I think that this ARV100 is a ski that can be used widely from parks and slopes to side country. The flex is also soft and it looks like it's going to be fun. If you have this one, you can enjoy all of free skiing!

ARMADA|STRANGER

You can only enjoy cruising on the slopes with loose turns left to R.

STRANGER|D=139-100-120mm (172cm)|L=172, 180cm|R=15.2m (172cm)|¥121,000

Anyway, the turns are fun and easy.

With a semi-fat 100mm center, supple flex and short radius (R=15m), it has a different shape, but you can only enjoy piste cruising with relaxed turns left to the R. Because the flex is soft, the skis bend well and turn lightly. The top is the same thickness as the JJ, and the center position is set back, so it slides well in powder.

KASTLE|ZX100

Hollowtech vibration absorption, which is a feature of KASTLE skis, works!

ZX 100|D=134-100-121mm|L=168, 175, 181, 189cm|R=16.4m (175cm)|¥102,000

◆ Official HP / https://www.kaestle.com/jp/

A combination of wood and fiberglass, very light. The center width of 100mm has buoyancy, and of course it has high gliding performance in powder, but it also has high rotation and stability even on groomed slopes, making it the perfect one for backcountry bass. I think that the KASTLE ski's characteristic Hollowtech (patented) vibration absorption is effective.

VÖLKL|REVOLT 104

When you get to the slopes in the morning and can't decide which board to put out, this is it!

REVOLT 104 |D=132-104-122mm|L=172, 180, 188cm|R=19m (180cm)|¥99,000

◆Official HP/ http://www.mdvsports.co.jp/

Camber & twin rocker, many brands have released boards with similar volume and outline, but I think this is the most well-balanced freestyle ski in this fierce battlefield category.

Piste cruising, powder, passing kickers, waves and 3D terrain. Although it is light, it has a sense of stability, and it is slippery, but it slides easily. If you arrive at the slopes in the morning and are unsure which board to put out, choose this board. Because it is a twin tip, it is convenient when sliding with children. It is also good to increase the sliding drawer and convey the joy of skiing to the next generation skiers.

ELAN | RIPSTICK 106 & RIPSTICK 106 BLACK EDITION

A "masterpiece" with a very wide range of defense for users and ski scenes

RIPSTICK 106 |D= 143-106-120mm|L=164, 172, 180, 188cm|R=18.1m (180cm)|¥112,200
RIPSTICK 106 BLACK EDITION|D= 143-106-120mm (180cm)|L=164, 172, 180, 188cm|R=18.1m (180cm)|¥156,200

◆ Official HP / https://www.elanjapan.co.jp/

I personally think it's a hidden gem.

Alpine skiers and basic skiers may feel a little unsatisfied with the rigidity, but for general users, it has a wide range of defense and is less likely to fail. With a wood core as a base, carbon fiber is placed on the inside of the ski, and a carbon tube is placed inside the ski to provide rigidity to the board.

The feel of the ski is characterized by the softness of the ski, and it's a lot of fun to ride. The ski itself is by no means weak, and it grips the snow surface from the beginning of the turn to the latter half of the turn. The operability is quite good in the powder scene, and the acceleration in the vertical direction is also very pleasant! It's written in an abstract way, but in a nutshell, it's a ski with a very wide range of defensive range for users and ski scenes.

As for the BLACK EDITION, it is a more aggressive remake of the standard RIPSTICK, and the feeling of riding it is "a carbon ski like a metal ski". In addition to the edge grip of a metal ski, the responsiveness of a carbon ski is very impressive. I'm happy that the weight is not so heavy!

It's a fun ski to ride! As for the bindings to match, I think the standard RIPSTICK should be set up to match your style. The tail slide control is also easy to operate, so I think that the performance of the ski can be used even in a setup that matches the mountain area. On the other hand, the BLACK EDITION tends to retain its grip until the latter half of the turn, so I think that the binding with the boot edge will produce the best turn grip and turn response. As for the set-up boots, the ski itself is very easy to handle, so I feel that even lightweight boots for touring can easily demonstrate the performance of the ski!

In addition to the ability to glide in powder, which is a feature of conventional full-rocker skis, by tilting the board down, you can grip the snow surface firmly and enjoy stable skiing. It's a ski that can do anything.

VECTOR GLIDE|POLARVE STANDARD

It has been greatly renewed this season and is more all-round than ever!

POLARVE STANDARD |D=135-107-128mm|L/R=180cm/23m, 186cm/25m|¥193,000

◆ Official HP / https://www.vectorglide-japan.com/

"POLARVE STNDARD" which was greatly renewed this season.
By eliminating the carbon that was built into last year's model and using only metal, the feeling of sticking to the snow surface more moistly increased, making it easier to slide stably.
Even so, the feeling of operation in the powder scene is surprisingly good, and the exquisite width of 107 mm at the center provides good grip on grooming burns, and it is possible to make sharp carving turns. I think it's one that can be used all round.

LINE|BACON 108

A softer flex enriches the variation of the movement!

BACON 108|D=142-108-137mm|L=166, 172, 178, 184, 190cm|R=17.4m (184cm)|¥104,500

◆ Official HP / https://lineskis.com/ja-jp

Freestyle powder model. The softer flex at the center of 108 enhances the variation of movement. By designing the tips of the nose and tail to be thin, the swing weight is reduced, making it easier to move in the air or in powder. It's the best that you can do slips, tricks and powder with this one.

NORDICA|UNLEASHED 108

Recommended for those who want to enjoy with one unit throughout the season

UNLEASHED108|D=140.5-108-129.5mm (180cm)|L=174, 180, 186, 191cm|R=19m (180cm)|¥126,500

The UNLEASHED series released in the 2022-23 season.

I want to enjoy carving on the slopes mainly for powder riding. If there is a park, I want to play. One of the recommended skiers for such a greedy skier who wants to do anything. From the 2023-24 season, a center width of 114mm was added, and there are three types to choose from: 108mm and 98mm, so if you want to get through the whole season with one car, you should choose the center width according to your preference. From freestyle to freeriding, from on-piste to powder riding, this is a machine that demonstrates its power in a variety of situations. Also for those who want to enjoy with one unit throughout the season.
