Various activities based on Hakuba

A backcountry guide club led by professional snowboarder Yuu Takeo, who has over 20 years of experience as a guide.
Based in Hakuba, it is diversified with back country tours, workshops for beginners, expeditions, and the K2 New Model Test Center. Yuu Takeo, the representative and chief guide of Bantei, who is trusted by many for his reliable skills and accurate guiding, is also focusing on backcountry safety awareness activities. He also develops beacon checkers and provides consulting services to resorts.

Various backcountry tours provided by Bantei

Backcountry tours are held mainly in the Omachi, Hakuba, Otari, and Itoigawa areas.

The Hakuba area is so vast that even a guide who skis every day can't ski all the lines. It is also attractive that the run distance is long because there are many places where you can access the lift and the location that is far from Japan. From those who are trying backcountry for the first time to those who have experienced backcountry, all ages and all guests are guided with safety first so that they can be satisfied. We also offer lessons to improve your technique.

[Beginner Tour]

A backcountry tour for guests who are new to backcountry and do not know about beacon operation or backcountry.

Participation fee: 11,550 yen (photo included) (If there is only one participant, the tour will be held for an
additional 4,400 yen) *Rental gear and lift tickets are not included

A tour for backcountry beginners, such as those who are not confident in their physical strength, those who want to hike slowly and take action. Enjoy the whole itinerary of the day at your leisure. From the Omachi, Hakuba, Otari, and Itoigawa areas, anticipate where the vent conditions will be on that day and enjoy powder skiing.
