This project will unfold in two parts. We've picked out courses from 10 ski resorts that will make you a true Hakuba Valley expert. We'll introduce the resort's signature courses, which everyone recognizes, as well as hidden gems loved by repeat visitors. The entire ski resort faces north, which helps maintain good snow quality. Connected to the neighboring Hakuba Goryu at the summit, it offers access to all eight courses. "47PARKS," one of the largest snowboarding parks in the Hakuba area, fills the course with various features. Beginners to advanced riders can enjoy kickers, jibs, and halfpipes all in one run. A pair lift runs along the park, allowing for efficient riding
Able Hakuba Goryu | A collection of three unique areas, from high-altitude powder snow to night skiing
Hakuba Goryu is comprised of three areas: Alpsdaira, Toomi, and Iimori. Including Hakuba47, which is connected at the top, it boasts the largest area and most varied courses. Its altitude of 1,680m ensures excellent snow quality, and the long season, which can be enjoyed until Golden Week, is also a major attraction. Furthermore, the base of the mountain has one of the largest night skiing facilities in the area
Panorama Course

On a clear day, the view of the Northern Alps and the ski lift is well worth seeing. The summit course is gently sloped and flat, making it suitable even for beginners, allowing you to enjoy the panoramic views while skiing. Due to its high altitude, it can be enjoyed for a long season
Grand Prix Course

This is the largest, widest run at the ski resort. The consistent slope makes for exhilaratingly long turns. The view from the east-facing slope is breathtaking, giving you the feeling of being drawn down towards the base of the mountain
White Resort Hakuba Sanosaka | Exclusive course with panoramic views of Lake Aoki, suitable for beginners and intermediate hikers
This ski resort overlooks Lake Aoki. A unique feature is that you enter the resort by walking across a railway crossing. 80% of the courses are suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. The groomed runs leading down towards Lake Aoki are particularly popular as a hidden gem known only to those in the know. The secluded feel, with untouched fresh snow remaining on the sides of the courses even after noon, is also a major draw
Lakedown Lakeview
DATA: Average slope 18°/11° | Skiing distance 1,500m
This course offers a graceful skiing experience surrounded by forest and overlooking Lake Aoki. While the initial slope is somewhat steep, it quickly becomes gentler, making it suitable even for beginners who want to enjoy the scenery. It's especially beautiful during sunrise hours
New Paradise
DATA: Average slope 27° | Skiing distance 500m
This course, offering breathtaking views of Lake Aoki, is a steep, advanced slope also used as an SAJ-certified mogul course. With the option of choosing between groomed or ungroomed snow, it's a hidden gem, especially after snowfall when high-quality powder is available
Kashimayari Ski Resort Family Park | Your base is at the bottom of the basin; direct access to the courses, immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery without getting lost
Located about 50 minutes from Azumino Interchange, the mountaintop at an altitude of 1,550m offers breathtaking views of the Northern Alps, including Kashimayari and Jigatake, and Lake Aoki and the Azumino Plain below. Central Plaza 1130, the base camp, is situated at the foot of the bowl-shaped terrain, making it easy to access all the courses. The popular Pokémon Snow Adventure is also still available
One-Beech Downhill Course
DATA: Average slope 15° | Skiing distance 2,000m
This long course, connecting the Nakatsuna and Central areas, takes advantage of the stream terrain. As the name suggests, it passes through a beech forest, offering technical variety with its wall-like terrain and abundant undulations. Those tired of monotonous slopes should definitely give it a try
Tomi Grand View A
DATA: Average slope 16° | Skiing distance 1,100m
From the upper part of the course, you can enjoy magnificent views of the majestic Northern Alps, the town of Omachi at the foot of the mountain, and even Azumino in the distance. The beginning of the course consists of wide, moderately gentle slopes, while the end features wide, steep slopes. Carving on the groomed slopes first thing in the morning is simply irresistible
Jigatake Ski Resort | Make your snow mountain debut in a gentle world with an average slope of 13°
The main attraction is the gentle slopes spread across a fan-shaped area with an elevation difference of 260m and an average gradient of 13 degrees. The main slope, with a maximum width of 200m, is unobstructed and ideal for families making their snow mountain debut or for beginners to practice. The wind-resistant terrain is also an advantage, as it ensures stable operation even in bad weather. Various types of slopes can be enjoyed, including a children's slope and a snow park next to the main slopes
Echo Ski Slope

The introduction of the latest snowmaking machines ensures consistently stable conditions. The gentle, consistent slope and wide course make it ideal for practice. The area also features a snow park that is enjoyable for beginners and first-timers, making it a lively spot
Ptarmigan Course

The upper section has a slight slope, and from the middle onwards, it features a variety of gentle and moderate slopes. It's relatively uncrowded, allowing you to ski at your own pace while focusing on your line. Recommended for those who want to enjoy skiing at a leisurely pace
