The total number of items has increased from 20 to 32. More kickers and wave items have been added, and the total length has expanded from 360 meters to 900 meters. The long, narrow layout of "R-4 Snow Park" is a popular park in Hakuba, an area known for its many snow parks, boasting a long history and high popularity. Produced by the top professional snowboarder team "HYWOD," the park's concept is to provide a safe and fun environment for riders of all skill levels to improve, with nearly 30 features installed during peak season. It offers an impressive spectacle, including a 20-meter-class big kicker and over 10 jumps of various sizes.
It is open for a long period from late November to May, and has three lanes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels, each with items suited to each level, so with practice you will definitely improve. Check out the video to see what the three lanes are like
It's fun to ride all around, from the halfpipe to the jumps and then the jibbing. Two lifts, Line AB, run along the park, so you can ride repeatedly and efficiently, which is a great advantage.

This park has a heavy snowfall slope where you can ski until May, with plenty of fine, powdery snow known as micro-fine snow. The park is operated in collaboration with Hoshino Resorts Alts Bandai, and the two resorts are connected, so lift tickets are shared, meaning if you have a season pass you can enjoy riding in the park for more than five months
From December to mid-January, an "Opening Park" is set up at Nekoma, allowing you to enjoy jumping early on. Nekoma's park is known for its "hybrid jumps," which combine the best of safety, security, and a sense of floating. However, from mid-January to March, the park moves to Alts Bandai. During the peak season, all levels of parks are concentrated at Alts, so you'll have to ride there

The best big kicker in Okumino,
Shiratori Kogen is a unique ski resort, full of originality and surprises. Even though it's only about an hour and a half by car from Nagoya, it usually opens early, in late November. Thanks to the power of the snow-making machines with their ice crushing system, the resort is able to maintain stable conditions on the large kickers. The resort also receives a lot of snow, so you can sometimes enjoy powder snow as early as March
The slopes at Shiratori Kogen are operated as a golf course during the green season, and the terrain was intentionally designed with undulations during the design phase, so in the winter season, the abundant snow on the rich terrain creates a fun environment for skiing and snowboarding. To make the most of the abundant snow and unique terrain, skiing restrictions are kept to a minimum, creating an environment where you can ski freely on any slope. You can ski and jump as much as you want, and the entire area is a natural snow park.
There are two parks, and the main park is accessed by a hooded quad lift that takes you from the bottom to the top, with a variety of kickers of various sizes, boxes and rails placed on both sides of the lift line. The biggest kicker in Okumino, which could be called the park's signature feature, is also located here.

Kandatsu Kogen is a popular day trip destination for visitors from the Tokyo metropolitan area. Though the ski resort is compact, it has attractive courses and is well-equipped with facilities such as hot springs and sleeping rooms, so many skiers and snowboarders purchase season passes and visit every weekend. As a result, park culture has long been rooted in Kandatsu Park, and heated sessions are held throughout the season. In addition to SCLOVER PARK and T-Bar Park, there is also Mountain Wave Park, where you can play on the terrain, making for an extremely comprehensive range of slopes
The hugely popular "SCLOVER PARK" was produced by Atsushi Ishikawa of "Sclover," a team of top Japanese snowboarders. Taking advantage of the abundant snowfall, over 30 features are lined up over one lift's length, approximately 1km. There are also plenty of kickers of different sizes (3m, 5m, 7m, 12m) and various rails, boxes, banks, and jibs. You can spin around on the B lift, which allows for efficient practice, making it the perfect place to improve your skills
For the 2021-2022 season, a T-bar was installed where the former Hike Up Park was, and it was reopened as the T-Bar Park. It's filled with easy-to-play items, including boxes and rails with low difficulty levels, making it perfect for beginners looking to try out the park for the first time, or for beginners looking to improve their skills. (If you're using a single lift ticket, you'll need to pay a separate 1,000 yen T-Bar Park ticket.)

Marunuma Kogen boasts one of the best park environments in the Kanto area. It consists of three sections: a jib park with plenty of jib features, a kicker park, and a beginner park. What's more, there's also "FROZEN WAVE PARK MARUNUMA," produced by Taro Tamai.
The jib park is located on the Cobalt course from the top, followed by the kicker park on the Orange course, and then the beginner park below. The design concept emphasizes the overall flow, with features spaced to make hitting them easy, and the park is designed to allow riders to freely arrange their riding style and ride in all directions, making it a fun and creative place to ride. The jib park, in particular, is located on both sides of the 8th lift, making it a popular spot, and because you can practice efficiently by riding the lift, you can improve quickly.

Washigatake
THE ACTIVE PARK
The snow amusement park has over 30 items, and
the jib line leading to the kicker is irresistible.
It's extremely accessible, just a three-minute drive from Takasu IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. The park "THE ACTIVE" at Washigatake is not only overwhelmingly high quality and has a huge number of items, but also incredibly energetic. It has a lively and cheerful atmosphere. Because you're directly under the high-speed four-seater lift, which takes four minutes to ride, you can feel the gazes of the spectators, which really boosts your motivation
The park's concept is "snow amusement park." There are more than 30 high-quality features of various sizes along the 1,200m length of one first quad lift. There are more than 10 kickers alone. The rhythmically placed kickers and the jib lines that follow them are incredibly fun. The features continue without a break, so it feels like a game, and you can enjoy it all day without getting bored. The lifts are efficient, so there's no waste and you can ski a lot.
