What is the appeal of summer slopes?

A summer ski resort, as the name suggests, is a winter ski resort that has been modified to allow skiing and snowboarding during the summer months. You might think that there must be something really appealing about going to a ski resort in the summer to ski or snowboard.
And you'd be right! Summer ski resorts have an appeal that can only be experienced and enjoyed in the summer.

❶ Especially in the extreme heat of this year (2024), simply "going to a refreshing highland area to cool off" is worthwhile.
❷ For busy city dwellers, escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and immersing oneself in lush nature has a significant refreshing effect on both mind and body.
❸ Summer ski slopes can be enjoyed in combination with activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and camping.
❹ Being able to practice skiing even during the off-season summer helps maintain motivation and supports improvement.
❺ Summer ski slopes offer opportunities for technical practice that are unique to the different environment, such as refining edging precision, turns, and balance control.
