Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain |Step Up Park North

A new snow park paradise is born where you can enjoy a variety of activities for five months depending on the season.
Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain is a snow resort that attracted attention when it was reborn as a big slope with 33 courses and 13 lifts in the 2023-24 season by combining the former Alts Bandai and Nekoma Ski Resorts. Originally, the two ski resorts were linked, and the snow park was moved to the best location at the right time throughout the season, but even with Nekoma His Mountain, the wonderful park environment remains the same.
The park map for the 2024-25 season (as of mid-March) is as follows. The orange zone is a field where you can play in the park, and there are seven types of parks to be set up. There are so many!

Among the seven parks, there are night parks and global parks with a big kicker of 17m, the world class 17m, but the main park is Step Up Park. It will be available in both the north and south areas, but only the northern area, Step Up Park North, is open until the end of the season. The slopestyle park, set up on the Devil 3 course, can be enjoyed for about five months from the opening until the end of Golden Week in May. Another fun thing about this is that you can efficiently rotate the lift using the Devil Cat Chair, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the park from the lift. The opening feature is that the size gradually increases from beginner to play items, and in the high season it is a slope style for intermediate to advanced levels, from approximately 5m to 10m. In spring, beginner lanes will also appear, making the season exciting.

Step Up Park South in the south area is for beginners and intermediate players. The 24-25 season is scheduled to open until March 23rd. In addition, in the south area, when there is plenty of snow, there is also a long "flowable park" of about 1,800m, where you can fly, turn on walls, and play on terrain on free lines, making it extremely popular. The 24-25 season is scheduled to open until March 16th.

“Faster than anywhere, late than anywhere”
Four parks that support long runs of 6 months or more
Kagura is famous for its powder area, but its strengths as one of Japan's heaviest snowfall areas are also demonstrated in its park management.
Starting with Kagura Park, which opens in late November, closes temporarily in late December, and reopens from early April to late May, the concept is "earlier than anywhere else, late than anywhere else." It has four parks with multiple functions and is operated for as long as six months. Since you can ski for half a year, the physical strength required at Kagura Snow Park is unparalleled. From late December to mid-April, the main stage will be Mitsumata Area 51s Park, which is filled with jumps and jib items, making it a great place to ski and improve your skills. ``Tashiro Beginners Park,'' which is for beginners, can be enjoyed until early April, and ``Mitsumata Ups'n'Downs,'' a slope style course that takes advantage of the natural topography, can be enjoyed until early May.

Snow Wave Park Shiratori Kogen | FREE RIDE JIB PARKS

park environment in Okumino where the conditions are always stable
Snow Wave Park Shiratori Kogen opens early in late November every year, even though it's about an hour and a half drive from Nagoya. They use snow machines to keep big kickers in stable conditions. Surprisingly, this area gets a lot of snow, and you can sometimes taste the powder in March.
In order to enjoy the abundant snow and unique topography to the fullest, skiing regulations are kept to a minimum to create an environment where you can ski freely on any slope. The uniqueness of the snow park, where you can slide as much as you like, and jump as much as you like, and the entire area is natural, is also appealing. The company has a history of operating snow parks since the 1990s, and its sophisticated park management techniques have been passed down through generations of diggers. Each item has a high degree of perfection. The big kicker is also famous as Hajime Okumino. There are lines on both sides of the quad that extend from the base that allow you to hit kickers of all sizes.
The '24-25 season is scheduled to open until Sunday, April 7th, 2025. As of mid-March, all 15 items are currently open at Snow Park, including 20 waves in a row.

Takawashi Snow Park | Spring Park "PANORAMA PARK"

The popular park at Takawashi Snow Park is "PANORAMA PARK" where you drop in from the panoramic quadlift on the far right on the slopes. This park is easy to flow using terrain such as waves, mini kickers, rails, and boxes, and is supervised by Yokota Maoto, one of the founding members of the professional snowboarding team "HYWOD." A one-lift course includes a range of elaborate items, allowing you to play freely.

The same field includes the "MIXED UP BANKS," the only complex park in the western Japan area that combines kickers and banks, and the "No. 1 Half Pipe" with world-class specifications. The big-scale half-pipe, which is approximately 120m in length and 7m in height, is made using cutting-edge pipe dragons by a professional group consisting of operators and digger crews who specialize in half-pipes, and athletes who compete in world championships also gather for training.
Next to it is a regular pipe that even beginners can experience pipe pride. In addition, a ski and snowboarding cross course called "THE WAVE X" was also built at the top of the beginner's course, making it popular.
