BE FREE is the only mogul and freeride ski specialty store in Nagano City. They offer product suggestions and information for a variety of styles, including mogul skiing equipment, park riding (jumping and jibing), powder skiing, and backcountry skiing
The shop's motto is, "To ensure everyone comes and goes with a smile. To make the experience of choosing equipment enjoyable and to ensure everyone leaves with a smile. And, of course, to be honest!"
The owner, Mr. Hashii, is a skier who, even in his 50s, still enjoys moguls, powder, park, and basic skiing. You can also get valuable advice from his wealth of experience.
Evolving into diverse styles with the times
When it opened in 2000, it mainly sold mogul gear, but with the times it has expanded to include freeride, powder, and touring. The store is open from September to April 30th, and from May to August 31st it is open for mail order only

Owner Masayuki Hashii
I'm 53 years old now, and from elementary school through college, I've devoted my life to baseball. I returned to my hometown of Nagano, and something happened that made me fall in love with skiing. I got hooked on moguls after seeing Grospiron ski at the Albertville Olympics. I've been skiing ever since, and I've never gotten bored. Moguls are where I started, but I do all kinds of skiing, from basics to moguls, powder, jib, and air
