If you remove all the barriers, it's even more fun
Bottomline offers everything from skiing, snowboarding (and splitboarding), and telemark skiing to tuning (maintenance). You can even enjoy authentic coffee. The owner is the only one who can handle all of this
The shop's unique atmosphere is the creation of the owner, Mr. Tabata
"I got into sliding and had fun, and before I knew it, I was trying my hand at everything," and this eventually became the business model
Each category synchronizes (intersects), and each emerges in an even more three-dimensional form, leading to a continuous stream of new discoveries. When this was shared with guests, they responded with, "That sounds interesting." As this back-and-forth continued, the
idea arose that "it would be even more relaxing with some drinks," so a café space was set up. Recognizing that everyone needs a "blissful cup" to switch off from their daily routine, even if only for a little while, a carefully selected cup of coffee was prepared.
Once you visit, you'll see that it's a very unique shop

Profile

Owner Tomoyuki Tabata
In the late 90s, he worked at a ski shop in Jiyugaoka. He then learned TUNE-UP and opened a shop that combined the two in 2004
Because the shop owner's background is in skiing, he has uniquely reconstructed splitboards from a "two-board perspective." He also inherited and developed an "alternative style" (as named by the shop owner) for telemark skiing from his mentor.
His recent catchphrase is, "When the equipment changes, the way you ride also needs to be updated." These days, skis and other similar equipment are often seen as materials, but they are ultimately "vehicles." If you look at them that way, I think they become a much more familiar presence.
