Dencraft | Original custom insoles and boot tuning specialty store used by Olympic athletes | Aichi Prefecture

Taking care of your body and adjusting your materials are essential to avoid injuries

This shop specializes in original insoles and boot tuning, and is popular with many users, from Olympic athletes to the general public (from the elderly to children). To ensure that the general public can enjoy the sport safely, athletes create NED insoles and tune their boots with medically verified techniques to improve their performance

*NED insoles were presented by Dr. Kazunari Mochizuki at the Japan Society of Foot Surgery in a paper entitled "Radiological Evaluation and Study of Natural Effects Device Insoles."

To avoid injury and improve performance, it is essential to take care of your body and adjust your equipment accordingly. Skiing, snowboarding, and telemark skiing are sports in particular where using equipment that is not set up correctly can pose many risks. It is difficult for an uninitiated user to set up their equipment properly, and this is where the knowledge of an expert comes in

The owner, Mr. Tabira, holds clinics on the snow about four times a year, and for first-time customers, he examines them physically, sets up their boots, and adjusts their body before giving them lessons on the snow. He also holds training seminars about four times a year for customers who feel the need for physical adjustments. "The reason we have to go to such lengths is because Japanese people, due to their physical structure, are not good at these sports," he says

Profile

Manager Hirofumi Tabira

When I worked for a certain automotive company, I was involved in sailing as part of the company's team, and in my off-season, I spent all year immersed in sports like skiing and tennis. My passion for skiing led me to quit my corporate job and get to where I am today. I believe my inherent dedication and experience in design work are the foundation of my current insoles.

Since founding the company, I have been fortunate enough to work with many athletes and patients in various sports, including skiing, snowboarding, speed skating, tennis, golf, and track and field. I utilize this experience, basing my approach on geophysics and human functional anatomy, observing my customers, and finding mutually agreeable solutions to support them. In short, I'm like a guide.

<A brief message> Physical fitness is essential for enjoyable and safe skiing. We support you in both physical aspects and equipment to help you live and play sports comfortably and safely !
