Kreb Sports is located in Echigo-Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture, a heavy snowfall area. With easy access to numerous popular ski resorts, it's a ski and snowboard shop where you can find everything you need to get up in the mountains.
The number of ski and snowboard brands and items they carry is the largest in the prefecture. In addition to hard gear, they also have a wide selection of accessories such as apparel, wax, and insoles.
In particular, the boot fitting zone, which was revamped in 2023, is truly impressive.
Now, more and more brands offer heat molding, making it a standard option for intermediate and advanced skiers. The entire process—consultation, warming the shell, trying it on, and letting it cool—is meticulously handled by expert staff.
If the boot rubs against your foot, they use various specialized tools to mold the shell to fit your individual foot shape. There is also a wide variety of insoles available, so you can choose according to your skiing style and skill level. Of course, you can also get advice from the knowledgeable staff.
While your boots are being worked on, we recommend taking a break in the cafe corner and browsing the store.
Among the diverse selection of products, you'll find plenty of Kreb's original brand items and rare items that you can't find anywhere else, all curated by our discerning staff.
As a pro shop close to the field, many of our staff are out on the snow every day, so you can get advice based on their real-world experience and shop with confidence to find what you need.
What's even more noteworthy is the presence of WINTERSTEIGER's latest tuning machine, the "Jupiter," of which only a few are currently in operation in the world
Edge tuning has evolved! [V-Edge Tuning Technology]
By adjusting the angles of the base edge and side edge in three zones from tip to tail, edge grip, sharpness, and smooth turning control are combined to deliver the ultimate skiing experience for everyone from expert skiers to those just starting out.
When you visit the Echigo Yuzawa area to ski, you can conveniently leave your skis there and have them tuned up. (The time it takes to tune up varies depending on the season.)

Although it requires membership for athletes, visitors can also use the facility, and even shoes can be rented. If you go skiing in the Yuzawa area, you can even use it on a day-by-day basis. There is also a service that creates a training menu tailored to each individual

I was born and raised in Yuzawa, and I grew up surrounded by snow and ski resorts.
During my student days, I was dedicated to alpine skiing, but
now I enjoy skiing on fluffy powder and backcountry skiing, and I'm also trying my hand at snowboarding.
In the summer, I try out SUP and camping, and I enjoy various kinds of leisure activities.
I'll be sharing information that will be useful to everyone about skiing, snowboarding, and ski resorts.
