Introducing Hoshino Resorts Tomamu's recommended courses, weather forecasts, live cameras, and course maps
Sun Meadows Kiyosato (Yamanashi Prefecture) is such a ski resort
It is easily accessible from the city center in about 2 hours, and is also conveniently accessible by train, just 5 minutes by taxi from JR Kiyosato Station.
It is especially popular with families, and there are many gentle slopes among the 11 courses that even beginners and small children can safely enjoy. There is also a Fantasy Park with snow items for children, a ``Skids Camp'' where children can improve while having fun, and a park dedicated to lessons, making it a very family-friendly environment. The outstanding charm of Sun Meadows Kiyosato is the view of Mt. Fuji and the 80% clear weather rate! It feels great to cruise along the neatly groomed slopes while admiring the symbols of Japan in the refreshing contrast of the blue sky and white snow.
Sun Meadows Kiyosato aims to be a ``resort that you can enjoy without having to ski,'' and the ``Winter Kiyosato Terrace,'' a scenic spot with a view of the beautiful Mt. Fuji and the vast Kiyosato Plateau from the summit of 1,900m above sea level, is very popular. They also focus on gourmet food on the slopes, offering authentic cuisine such as Italian cuisine, where pasta and pizza are popular.

Recommended information from ski resorts
Nakamura Farm chicken curry @Restaurant Sundance
Sundance, the main restaurant at Sun Meadows Kiyosato, which claims to be a ``above-the-class 'gere food' restaurant,'' has a wide variety of carefully selected menu items. One such dish is a collaboration with local chicken from Nakamura Farm. Noodles with motifs of famous mountains in the area, such as Akadake Ramen and Yatsugatake Ramen, are also popular.
Kai Oizumi Onsen Panoramic Hot Spring
About 15 minutes by car from the ski resort.
Beautiful skin hot water flowing directly from the source. We recommend the large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy the footbath for free, and there is also a restaurant. After your meal, you can relax in the free rest area in the large tatami hall. It's open until late, so it's perfect for a quick bath after skiing. Business hours: 10:00-22:00
