Hoshino Resorts Alts Bandai operates a unique style of cat skiing, a shuttle-style experience on dedicated courses within the ski resort. Guests
can freely ski down four courses ranging from gentle intermediate slopes to steep 37-degree slopes (which may be closed depending on conditions). The intermediate slopes are mainly pre-maintained courses, making them easy to ski on, ideal for first-time cat skiers and powder beginners. It's safe and secure as it's within the ski resort.
No backcountry equipment is required, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis in the morning, making it easy to participate. Three trips are operated daily, and you can use each one individually, so it's definitely worth trying.
