right on the slopes of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort, overlooking the Northern Alps, Tsugaike Grand Lodge boasts an excellent location. Stepping out of the entrance, you're immediately greeted by the Bell-Ringing Hill slope, and it's just a 5-minute walk to the Tsugaike Ropeway base station.
The owner of Tsugaike Grand Lodge is professional skier Masahiro Maruyama. After competing at the forefront of skiing for 20 years, from alpine to mogul, he switched to the world of freeskiing. He has been shooting mainly in the HAKUBA Valley mountain area, and has also participated in freeride competitions, actively working as a professional skier. He also serves as the patrol leader for Iwatake Ski Resort.

We are proud of our cuisine, which is packed with wild vegetables from Hakuba and seafood from the Sea of Japan
Tsugaike Grand Lodge prides itself on its meticulously prepared cuisine. The owner himself goes into the mountains to gather wild vegetables and mushrooms, and serves handmade 100% buckwheat soba noodles made from his own cultivated buckwheat. These handmade 100% buckwheat soba noodles are exquisite, with an outstanding aroma and texture, and the number of guests who come specifically to enjoy them is increasing every year.
In addition, fresh seafood delivered directly from Itoigawa Fishing Port is available, and in winter, the hot pot dishes change daily, with options such as anglerfish hot pot and snow crab hot pot being served. Special orders, such as sashimi platters, are also accepted. The menu changes daily, so what you'll be served is a surprise.

There is also a bar called "En" within the inn where you can enjoy a drink after your meal. You can have fun with your skiing buddies or just quietly sip your drink
