Example: At the age of 14, I discovered snowboarding and became engrossed in halfpipe competitions. In 2000, I obtained a professional certification from the JSBA (Japan Snowboard Association). Fascinated by the world of backcountry, I felt the joy and charm of mountains and nature, and wanted to provide safe and enjoyable mountain trips, so I pursued a career as a guide.
