The 2025-2026 season is a season of unstoppable evolution and progress

VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports skis were developed by Marcel Hirscher, the world's strongest racer, who has set unprecedented records of eight W-CUP overall victories, seven World Championship victories, and two Olympic gold medals, and has continued to reign at the top of the world

Two years after the brand was founded in 2022, it was first introduced in Japan through the Niigata Prefecture-based retailer, Klev Sports, and has since gained momentum. The unique presence of VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports has been recognized by users, and Hirscher's overwhelming commitment to quality and the excellent performance of its products have been highly praised, leading to an ever-increasing number of loyal users

Athletes using VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports materials have also been performing remarkably well in the FIS World Cup. Henrik Kristffersen and Timon Haugen have already reached the podium multiple times this season. Even more surprising, Marcel Hirscher announced his return to FIS Alpine racing for the 2024-2025 season after a six-year hiatus. This has had a major impact on the ski industry, and expectations for VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports know no bounds. In the midst of this top season, the new products for next season have been unveiled. Let's take a look at the details and key points to note

VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports boots "PRO BOOT" are born!

VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports skis are the product of Hilscher's exceptional talent and uncompromising professional passion. Hilscher's keen inspiration and exceptional sense for gear was quickly translated into the next innovation

Marcel Hirscher's unique story continues, and the development of boots is at the forefront of it. The "PRO BOOT" has been announced as a new addition to the lineup for next season, and it has once again surprised everyone

"Because with good boots, performance is taken to the next level, closer to the ultimate. To unleash the true potential of skiing, you need the perfect boots," says Hirscher. The importance of boots, which transmit the power to control the skis, goes without saying

Hirscher has teamed up with a world-class boot designer with outstanding technical skills and a boot engineer who brings together cutting-edge technology to create products, and together they have begun developing their own boots from scratch. They began by working on the pure racing boots used by the VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports skiers who compete in the FIS W-CUP, and after two years of dedicated testing, they will finally release the "PRO BOOT" for general users to the world next season

When you make tight turns on groomed runs, you'll experience the exhilaration of sharp, high-speed turns. It's sure to be a hit with both basic skiers and carving enthusiasts

The increasingly popular FREERIDE line has undergone a graphic change

Skier: Marcel Hirscher

Two freeride skis developed by Hirscher, whose passion for alpine racing is far beyond their own, are proving extremely popular. The VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports FREERIDE line boasts impressive glide and high-speed stability derived from World Cup racing, while hitting the freeride strike zone with waist widths of 98mm and 108mm

In addition to its distinctive surfy tip rocker, the poplar core is reinforced with two layers of titanium and carbon, and it features a full ASB sidewall, racing edges, and a P-Tex race base. It's a powerful machine that combines outstanding control, float, and maneuverability in powder. Because Marcel doesn't accept anything less than perfection, this fat ski is finished in a genuine raceroom style using the same "Winning Line" recipe as the race-oriented lineup

The graphics have been updated for the 2025-2026 season, with a cool single-color look replacing last season's two-tone color scheme. A new base material has also been adopted, further improving the gliding performance and durability. Users who actually purchased the FREERIDE model at Clev Sports last year have left positive feedback, saying things like, "Its performance in all conditions is amazing," and "The stability at high speeds is something else entirely."

This is sure to be a popular model next season as well. It's limited edition and first come, first served, so if you're interested, you'll need to act fast

FREERIDE98

With a 98mm waist, the FREERIDE 98 is a highly versatile model that can handle any situation, from deep backcountry snow to hard-packed on-piste runs. It combines reliable float in powder with reliable grip on hard runs, and is a multi-talented ski that offers outstanding maneuverability and stability at high speeds. It has been a huge hit since its debut last season. For the 2025-2026 season, it's available in a stylish off-white colorway

The FREERIDE 108 is designed for big mountain skiers who want to tackle any terrain and enjoy aggressive skiing. It offers excellent float in powder, outstanding control, and nimble maneuverability in the air. Its incredible stability at high speeds showcases the unique VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports technology, honed through alpine racing. The 2025-2026 season sees the introduction of a cool Rock Lidge colorway

MARKER VAN DEER ski bindings in original colors

Next season, the MARKER COMP series will have bindings in exclusive colors for VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports. The bindings will be in the same color as the graphic colors of the skis recommended for the series other than the FREERIDE, allowing for a perfect coordination. This is also a reflection of Hirscher's commitment to gear

By the way, the setup for the "SL" is MARKER COMP FDT 13 GW, in GRAY, the same color as the board, while the "H-POWER89" comes in KAHKI, also the same color as the board

The one and only "FACTORY TUNNING" in the world

Jupiter-X @xraeb Sport

What's particularly noteworthy about VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports skis is not only the high quality of the skis themselves, but also the fact that all models are tuned to race-room specifications using Jupiter-X, the world's most advanced tuning machine, before being shipped

Each model features a "V-Edge" that allows precise adjustment of the base and side edges of the tip, center, and tail. It's a truly special mechanism, with the settings that maximize the ski's performance remaining secret

If you want to tune up your board again after purchasing it, for example the following season, simply bring it to Creve Sports, the only store in Japan that owns the Jupiter-X, and have the QR code scanned by the Jupiter-X

This "FACTORY TUNNING" is a one-of-a-kind service made possible by Hilscher's belief that all users should be able to enjoy the value of world-class tuning and settings

The absolute champion Hirscher makes a magnificent comeback

Marcel Hirscher achieved an unprecedented eight consecutive victories in the W-CUP overall title up until the 2018-19 season. Leaving a legacy of legend behind him, he retired from the FIS racing scene in September 2019, but announced his return to racing in the 2024-25 season, an astonishing six-season absence. And he did so not in his native Austria, but in his mother's native Holland. The news was picked up as top news in European media, and quickly spread around the world

Hirscher competed in the men's GS in Sölden on Sunday, October 27th, the opening round of the World Cup. Behind this was a change in the FIS rules that was a boon for Hirscher: the "wild card." This special rule, which aims to make it easier for past star athletes to return to the sport, not only gives them the right to compete in the World Cup but also gives them an advantageous starting position even if they have no points, and it is no exaggeration to say that it was created just for Hirscher

On the day itself, he started in 34th place, and with an aggressive run that made it hard to believe it had been six seasons since he last raced, he finished in 28th place, 2.29 seconds behind the leader. Then, in his second run, he started third. On a smooth course, he finished with a powerful and technical run, and in the end, his second run time was the third fastest. His total time placed him in 23rd place. This was a better result than anyone had expected, and it was a strong demonstration of Hirscher's complete comeback

A photo of Hirscher with a big smile that he posted on his Instagram was striking.
It received 73,000 likes, and fans who were happy about the superhero's return left a flood of warm comments such as, "You are a man with a true vision, and you are contributing to redefining sports, industries, and ways of life," and "I knew you could do it. From now on, it's all for the fun. For you and for us. We missed you, Marcel."

The next race was the slalom opening race in Levi, Finland, and even greater expectations and attention were focused on Hirscher. However, he suffered a ligament injury during training. Unfortunately, it is now unlikely that he will continue racing this season, but the undisputed champion's performance in the first race, which showed no signs of decline, was a full demonstration of the power of the VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports gear to the world.
