Tohoku Quest in Miyagi Prefecture is a mat jumping facility equipped with mats and landing areas
The ski jump facility has three ramps of varying sizes, and is a popular spot for adults and children alike to practice skiing and snowboarding. The artificial turf used, called "Summer Snow," provides a skiing experience similar to that of real snow, and the facility's unique air mat landing system ensures safety.
In 2019, it was designated a "National Training Center for Sport-Specific Strengthening" by the Japan Sports Agency.

For those using the facility for the first time or after a long break, a simple brush lesson is also offered.
Learning how to perform smooth heel-side and toe-side turns on the brush will give you more confidence from the approach, making it easier to enjoy jumps and improve your skills. The facility usage flow and explanations of each item are clearly explained in the video.
Tohoku Quest is located right next to Murata Interchange, making it easily accessible by car. For those coming from afar to practice, there is also a budget-friendly, homey lodging called "Charida Robano" located nearby. It's fully equipped with a shower, washing machine, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, tableware, and futons, and starts at just 2,750 yen per night, making it ideal for those who want to stay overnight and practice intensively
