Tohoku Quest | Accommodation available! Mat jumping facility designated by the Japan Sports Agency

Tohoku Quest in Miyagi Prefecture is a mat jumping facility equipped with mats and landing areas

There are three types of kickers: a small one for practicing basic tricks, a large one for intermediate and advanced riders, and an XL (16m) one for top pros. Adults and children alike are dedicated to practicing skiing and snowboarding. The artificial turf used, called summer snow, provides a gliding sensation similar to that of real snow, and the unique air mat landing system ensures safety

In 2019, it was designated by the Japan Sports Agency as a "National Training Center for Sport-Specific Strengthening."

For those using the facility for the first time, or after a long break, a simple brush lesson is offered on the "Free Run Lane."
Learning how to perform smooth heel-side and toe-side turns on the brush will give you more confidence from the approach, making it easier to enjoy jumps and improve your skills. The facility usage flow and explanations of each item are clearly explained in the video.

Tohoku Quest is located right next to Murata Interchange, making it easily accessible by car. For those coming from afar to practice, there is also a budget-friendly, homey lodging called "Charida Robano" located nearby. It's fully equipped with a shower, washing machine, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, tableware, and futons, and starts at just 2,750 yen per night, making it ideal for those who want to stay overnight and practice intensively

Recommended for family trips, ski tours, bicycle trips, etc. Parking and Wi-Fi are available
It can also be used as a rental space (reservation required)
