From February 22nd (Sat) to 23rd (Sun), 2025, the "2025-2026 New Model Test Ride" event will be held by ski pro shop Mt. Peaks at Katashina Kogen Ski Resort in Gunma Prefecture. This will be the first test ride event hosted by a pro shop, and will feature many popular brands, including ARMADA, SALOMON, K2, LINE, FACTION, ATOMIC, and ICELANTIC! It's great to be able to compare the latest models from each manufacturer all at once. Plus, if you participate in the test ride, you'll save 1,100 yen on your adult one-day lift ticket, which is normally 4,900 yen, but will now be 3,800 yen!
This is a great opportunity to try out exciting new models in the perfect conditions of the peak season!
Therefore, STEEP is looking for test ride reporters from among our users.
On the day, we will be test riding many skis and asking for your impressions of the ride feel and the performance of the skis you have experienced. We would especially like to hear from people who have a strong interest in gear, who are particular about it, and who actively share their opinions on social media
Why not take your time to carefully examine the new models, trying out different fat skis on piled-up powder and checking out the sharpness of carving on groomed runs packed with crisp, fresh snow?

STEEP Test Drive Porter Application
Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Test ride reporters will be asked to participate on a daily basis, with 2-3 people needed for each day on Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd.
Selection will be based on the information provided in the application, including skiing skill level and preferred style.
STEEP will cover the participation fee for those selected as reporters, but there will be no lift tickets or compensation.
On Saturday, February 22nd, test rides will be from 9:00 to 15:00, followed by a one-hour roundtable discussion with all reporters; your cooperation would be greatly appreciated. We plan to publish the
personal profiles and social media information of those selected as reporters.
