Teton Gravity Research |2020 latest work "Make Believe" trailer released!

Make Believe

25 years of TGR trying to turn imagination into reality

Teton Gravity Research, also known as TGR, has been leading the action sports scene for many years as a long-established movie maker. Based in Jackson Hole (WY, USA), he has been presenting dynamic skiing and snowboarding videos in the local Teton Mountains area, Alaska and Europe's big mountains for a long time.

The trailer for TGR's latest work in 2020 was released to the world the other day. The title is "Make Believe". For 25 years, TGR has shaped the adventure of living a dream, turning the imagination of snow lovers into reality. This work is likely to be a work that can be said to be the culmination of 25 years of adventure.

Inspiration is evoked spontaneously and without intention…”

― Inspiration comes naturally. Even if you don't mean to...

Sometimes it comes from a single photograph or from thinking of a mountain I've never seen before. When you combine that inspiration with your motivation, it becomes a dream, and when you follow it, it gives your life new meaning.

“MAKE BELIEVE” celebrates today's athletes who have committed to this ethos, the ones who have fallen deeply in love with the mountain life, the people who have chosen to live their lives in a particular way, from inception to reality, the ones who choose to make and believe in their dreams.

“Make Believe” celebrates today's athletes who commit to a special way of life, immersed in mountain life and believing in their dreams.

Blessed youngest and greatest performer
Kai Jones

Among the TGR family riders, Kai Jones is the one who has surprised the world the most.

Kai is said to be ``the best skier among all 12-year-olds in the world.''

he is 12 now. He's actually proven himself to the world when he won the International Freeskier's Big Mountain Competition circuit in his under 12 category. In last year's TGR movie "Far Out," he 35 feet with ease. From landing to bottom, he was faster than TGR pro skier Tim Durtschi, and his turn was as beautiful as Tim.

Just take a look at how this scary boy slides.

!

Kai Jones is actually the son of Todd Jones, one of the founders of TGR.

He grew up watching his father filmmaking from the age of 2, and grew up skiing at Jackson Hole from an early age. At the age of 12, he is an astounding performer and expressionist, and his abilities and future prospects have been highly evaluated.

He got wings to the world. Kai used to say that when he was little.
He said, "Someday I will be the person (subject) that my father films."

Comments like this have been received on social media from all over the world.

Kai Jones isn't the only point of interest on the new 'Make Believe'. The filming location says "Japanese Alps". Yes, last season the crew also visited Japan to shoot. TGR is very fond of JAPOW and Japan, and has traveled to Niseko and Hakuba before. I can't wait to see what kind of riding will unfold this time and the Japanese scene.
