Rusutsu Resort is scheduled to open on Friday, December 4th | HEAD team's video from last year's visit has been dropped

The HEAD FREESKIING team, who visited Rusutsu last year, have released a video on the theme of "forest bathing." First, please enjoy the incredibly refreshing video of JAPOW x tree running!

Nothing is more valuable to our souls than spending time in a living forest. The Japanese call it "forest bathing"—immersion in the forest. There are more ways to indulge in this pastime than there are trees in the forest. -Sam Kuch & Baker Boyd-

Sam Kuch and Baker Boyd, who appear in the video, seem to have enjoyed Rusutsu on HEAD's freeride model "KORE," a model that combines lightness, strength, buoyancy, and maneuverability

Rusutsu Resort, where the photo was taken, is scheduled to open on Friday, December 4th

Rusutsu's popular, ungroomed Heavenly Canyon course

Rusutsu is known for its size, snow quality, and varied terrain. It consists of three mountains: West Mt., East Mt., and Mt. Isola, with 37 courses totaling a total of 42km!

This area offers more than enough space for powder skiing. The Heavenly Course, located behind Mt. Isola, is a particularly good choice. This easy-to-ski southeast-facing course, with an average slope of 20-25 degrees, features a ravine-like shape, making it fun even for non-experts to ride along the wall. It's a place to ski through the trees and enjoy the abundant natural features and undulations.

*Note: Some gondolas and lifts are scheduled to be closed during the 2020-21 season. Please check the website for details.
