"WEEKEND SKIING"
Let's keep skiing this winter too

The 2021 season begins with loud calls for a new style of skiing

Although the surrounding environment is harsh, for a species that spends the whole year preparing for winter, it feels like winter has arrived as usual.
The only difference from previous years is that, in addition to thinking about where it will snow, which parks are in good condition, and which mountain to ski on, infection control measures have to be added to the process.

For the past few months, I have been spending my weekdays with the excitement of the weekend tucked in my heart

With the noble purpose of avoiding crowds in mind, why not combine the weekend with the Friday and Monday before and after to enjoy the snowy mountains to the fullest?

"This is the HAKUBA"

The Freeride World Tour (FWT), which ran for four seasons
, has unfortunately been canceled this season due to the increased difficulty of foreign athletes traveling to Japan because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, thanks to the FWT and FWQ, every January for the past four years, renowned athletes from all over the world and photographers who followed their activities have flocked to Hakuba. This
article introduces the charm of Hakuba from a foreigner's perspective, captured by these athletes who have traveled the world's snow-covered mountains, along with their photographic works

At the end of the article, we will feature an essay by Yu Sasaki titled "Now, in my third year of participating in the FWT."
