Annual Atomic All-Star Camp. This is an event where professional skiers belonging to the Japan Atomic Team interact with users through lessons. This season, it will be held at Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort for two days from Saturday, April 17th to Sunday, April 18th.
Every year, hundreds of fans come to Nozawa Onsen for this day, a festival that ends the season.
Athlete guests from the alpine race category are the Japanese national team from Nozawa Onsen, Seigo Kato, and other promising young athletes. In the demo category, you'll see an extraordinary lineup of people you don't usually get to see, such as Japan's top demonstrator Ryu Takeda.
In addition, a FREERIDE SESSION was newly established this season, and lessons for "Freeride, Slopestyle, Halfpipe" will be held.
Takeshi Kodama, who has skied the world's big mountains, including Denali Downhill, the highest peak in North America, will freeride. Gen Sasaki is a former member of Japan's slopestyle team and is currently active in freeride skiing. In the halfpipe, Sochi Olympic bronze medalist Ayana Onozuka and another gorgeous member are joining.
The FREERIDE category was established with the aim of nurturing young free skiers who are expected to play an active role in the future.
Specifically, to develop athletes who will participate in the Freeride Junior Tour, a world freeride skiing competition. The Slopestyle/Halfpipe division aims to nurture athletes who will be active in world competitions such as FIS in the future. Therefore, the participants are 15 to 19 years old in the freeride division, and from the upper elementary school to the third year of high school in the slopestyle and halfpipe divisions. (There is no age limit for camps in other categories)
Pre-registration is required to participate in the camp.
You can choose one day or both days out of the two days of the exhibition. It's a once-in-a-lifetime camping event.
