[Joetsu/Myoko Area] Charmant Hiuchi (Niigata Prefecture)
65% of the ski resort is a powder paradise with ungroomed snow.
You can purchase tickets online with a discount of up to 10,000 yen!

This entire area is famous for its heavy snowfall, and during the peak season, the snowfall consistently exceeds 500 cm, making it truly extraordinary. The ski resort has created an environment that allows it to make the most of this abundant snow. The resort's keywords are "uncompacted snow" and "natural untouched." They continue to make an effort not to pack the snow, with over 65% of the area designated as ungroomed areas and runs.
The freeriding zones are brimming with terrain so rich it's hard to tell whether they're on a slope or in the side country. While attracting freeriding connoisseurs, they're surprisingly uncrowded and a hidden gem, with a high chance of finding powder. Considering this environment, a season pass is well worth the investment. Since last season, online purchases have become available, making it even more convenient.
