[Tohoku Area] Appi Kogen Ski Resort (Iwate Prefecture)

Appi Kogen boasts dazzlingly beautiful corduroy slopes and some of the longest courses in Japan, with a total of 21 courses, a longest run of 5,500m, and a total skiable distance of 43,100m—everything is on a grand scale. Its tree run area is also vast, making it a well-known name among freeskiers as "Appi is the place to be in Tohoku."

Note that a deposit of 11,000 yen is required at the time of purchase, which is refundable in case of cancellation.
