Sammy Carlson's latest film 'North of Snow' is out

Sammy Carlson's latest film "North of Snow" has been released.

The 21st season when the border was blocked due to the influence of the coronavirus. This video was taken in Revelstoke, Canada, where he is based, during this time when it is difficult to move around.

In addition to his unique jumping technique, which was originally a slopestyle athlete who appeared in competitions and video production works, this work incorporates many elements that make him attractive in sliding.

Cliff jumps over 10m in height, gliding gracefully on pillow lines, jump tricks to butter 180, and other free-thinking tricks and his own new lines in the mountains of Revelstoke. Like a surfer manipulating the waves, the figure that plays with the natural formations formed on the snowy mountains is impressive. Sammy has a fresh image, such as blowing up a large amount of snow smoke with a spray and sliding in the backcountry with a switch. At the same time, it contains cuts that make everyone think, “I want to skate in a place like this.”

Yu Sasaki, who lives in the same Revelstoke, also appears in the video.
She is Sasaki herself, and she seems to have been greatly influenced by Sammy's skating, which she says, "I admired her." The whole excitement can be seen on Sasaki's YouTube channel, so please check it out.
