Mogul Venue/Uncho Snow Park

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be held in China from February 4th to 20th, 2022. STEEP will be focusing on the competition dates and venues for the freestyle skiing, snowboarding, and alpine skiing events that are of particular interest

Big Air Shouga (Ski & Snowboard Big Air)

The biggest attraction will likely be the Big Air venue. It was specially built in Beijing for the Olympics and is the world's first special Big Air venue. It was built on the site of a former steel mill, with four industrial cooling towers in the background. It is beautifully lit up at night

Illuminated Big Air Neck Steel 

Yunding Snow Park (Ski & Snowboard Slopestyle and Half Hype venue)

Located about 180km northwest of Beijing, in the Zhangjiakou area, a popular destination for snow sports enthusiasts in China, Yunding Snow Park is located within an existing ski resort. Two venues have been set up: Park A for freestyle skiing and Park B for snowboarding, each with a capacity of 7,500 spectators

This is the mogul competition course!

This is the mogul course, which was completed just before the opening. Looking around, there are bushes, but the course itself is in perfect condition, and it is no wonder that 90% of the venue is made from artificial snow. The competition takes place at night, with temperatures dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius. The heated battle unfolding in the frigid cold is a must-see. Live broadcasting on various TV stations is also planned, so be sure to tune in!

The slopestyle course is unveiled!

Here is the snowboard/ski slopestyle course that was finally unveiled the other day. Its striking design is full of Chinese cultural influences. The snow walls, reminiscent of the Great Wall of China, are laid out in stages and actually function as windbreaks for athletes as they ski down the slope. Divided into six sections, the variety of items, size, and perfect conditions have all earned it rave reviews as a "next level" artistic course. Be sure to check out the introductory video!

The half-pipe course is complete!

It looks like the half-pipe course is ready for the competition starting on February 9th. As you can see, it's dazzlingly beautiful. The conditions are perfect! The men's qualifying and finals are scheduled to be broadcast on television, so be sure to come and enjoy the world's best tricks on this stage
