Jozankei Stay Monitor Tour
Jozankei Onsen is a hot spring resort that represents Hokkaido with a history of over 150 years. About 45 minutes by car from Sapporo, it is a tourist attraction full of hot spring atmosphere, which is said to be the back room of Sapporo. Jozankei Onsen is surrounded by famous snow resorts such as Sapporo Kokusai, Sapporo Teine, Kiroro, Niseko, and Luz. In fact, Jozankei Onsen also has a backcountry field that is not well known yet, making it a perfect base for a ski trip.
This time, the Sapporo Global Sports Commission * has planned a ski monitor plan for Jozankei Onsen Stay as an initiative to communicate the potential of Jozankei Onsen.
There is a powder tour to Niseko escorted by Daisuke Sasaki, a mountain guide based in Jozankei Onsen, and a monitor tour where you can choose places such as Rusutsu and Sapporo Kokusai according to the conditions of the day and aim for powder.

HOKKAIDO Powder Liner｜Jozankei Onsen
Stay in Jozankei, and on the second and third days (February 27th and 28th), a side country tour with a guide by Daisuke Sasaki. From New Chitose Airport to Jozankei, in addition to the rental car (4WD/studless) plan, there is also a hire plan for those who are worried about driving. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the slopes. The skiing location will be determined by the guide on the day depending on snow conditions, weather conditions, etc. (2-day lift ticket is included in the price).

Profile Daisuke Sasaki
Born in Sapporo. He has been an apprentice mountain guide and has competed in overseas extreme ski competitions. He skied famous peaks around the world and left numerous records. With his worldwide and aggressive adventure activities, he has become an unparalleled free skier who represents Japan. While continuing to accumulate achievements that only Daisuke Sasaki can do, he became an international mountain guide. Since 2010, he has presided over "Guide Bankei" and has been providing full-scale backcountry services overseas and in Japan.
