We received many loving comments about our favorite manufacturers for each gear. At the end of 2022, I summarized what was announced on Twitter in detail, so I would be happy if it was an opportunity to get to know each other again.

Approximately 70% of users are under the age of 45! There are many young skiers in their 20s and 30s! There is a saying that young people are turning away from skiing, but that term does not apply to STEEP. Let's continue to liven up the ski industry!
What style of skating do users prefer?
Next, about the usual ski style. Powder skiing, tree running, and slope skiing are common, but it seems that they enjoy skiing in various genres with multiple answers. Many users seem to enjoy "skiing" to their heart's content, saying, "I do tree runs, ski slopes, and go to BC!"
Have you ever been to the backcountry?
About half of the users have been there more than once. On the other hand, about 40% of people are interested but have never been there. While skiing in various styles, I'm interested in BC... We plan to provide content that can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced skiers alike.

What is your favorite ski brand?
ARMADA received the most support. ATOMIC, LINE, FACTION, and K2 ranked next. As for the reasons why I like the brand, there are comments such as that I am attracted to the brand's unique technology such as gliding performance, commitment to the board, design, etc., and there is also a way to choose because the rider you like is riding. There were many users who wanted the same board as their favorite riders, especially those who liked high-end brands.
What is your favorite binding brand?
MARKER boasts overwhelming popularity in my favorite bindings. About 60% of the respondents supported it, and the functionality and safety that MARKER has cultivated so far has been highly evaluated. There were many opinions that skis were chosen by design, but when it comes to bindings, emphasis is placed on functionality. A trusted manufacturer has been selected to stabilize unstable feet.
Boot brands have different tastes!
ATOMIC is the first place by a narrow margin. Next are SALOMON and FULL TILT. The popularity of FT, which has already been absorbed by the K2 brand, remains strong. They have no choice but to choose shoes that fit their foot shape, but they seem to choose the brand's shoes because they have a better fit, can be customized, or can be repaired.
Only outdoor brands? favorite clothing brand
In my top 5 favorite clothing brands, there are not only manufacturers specializing in ski wear, but also general outdoor brands. Many of the reasons why it was chosen are because of its simple design. Wear that rises year by year is good not only when going to the snowy mountains, but also for town use.
When it comes to goggles, this is the one! favorite goggle brand
Goggles are essential to protect your eyes. The criteria for selection are ease of viewing, fit to the face, resistance to fogging of the lens, and its technology. Brands that combine not only functionality but also design are selected.
A lot of helmet users! favorite helmet brand
GIRO won the 1st place in the helmet. There are many models that fit the shape of the Japanese head more, and it tends to be preferred. In addition, the compatibility of the helmet and goggles is also an important point. In many cases, the same manufacturer was used as a set. Another point to note is whether or not the MIPS function, which is strong against external impacts such as falls, is selected.
Many people love leather gloves! What is your favorite glove brand?
Overwhelmingly popular brands also appear here. HESTRA won the first place with the support of about half. Among them, I prefer the 3 Finger model. Among all the answers, the overwhelming majority of users are "leather" gloves. The warmth and durability of the fabric, and if you continue to take care of it carefully, it is also attractive that the color and feeling of wearing that you have used for many years will be indescribable.

Are there very few replacements? One of the gear, ski pole (stock). LEKI, SINANO, LINE, etc. are ranked here. Depending on the material of the grip and pole, choose the one that fits the person. There are also voices saying how to choose from the function side and choose by design according to the board. However, there are many users who choose "made in Japan", which was not seen in other gears. It was impressive that even ski gear made by many overseas manufacturers was chosen because it was uniquely Japanese.
