On Tuesday, February 7th, the TOYO TIRES FWT QUALIFIER 4* HAKUBA 2023 was held in Hakuba Village under clear skies.
Since the FWT came to Japan in 2017, the so-called "Mixed Long" slope, which had been the first choice for the event, was finally held for the first time. The slope faces north overall, with a mix of rocky areas and northwest and northeast slopes, and the snow quality changes dramatically depending on the sunlight. The slope is so
challenging that it has even been considered a potential FWT hosting location, and the competitors displayed some high-level riding.
