An event that reminds me of Anokoro Ishiuchi Maruyama ISHIUCHIMARUYAMA RETRO SNOW STYLE holding report

Around 1990 at the beginning of the Heisei era, when the ski boom was maturing and Japan was in the midst of a bubble.
Young people at that time rode their own cars to ski resorts and headed to the snowy mountains while playing music on original cassette tapes. The young people at that time are now in their 50s and 60s, but Anokoro culture is now a new trend among young people. Loose socks, arm warmers, wired earphones, etc. are creating freshness. In addition to fashion, snow brands such as Oakley, Roxy, and The North Face have released 80/90 revival wear, and the excitement of Heisei retro can be felt everywhere.

The event “ISHIUCHIMARUYAMA RETRO SNOW STYLE” was held on March 11th and 12th.

This event was held to bring back the enthusiasm of Anokoro, who was enthusiastic about skiing all over Japan, and to let young people experience the charm of snowy mountains, including skiing and snowboarding.

The main content is a DJ event that plays songs from the 90's, and guest DJs include DJ KOO, Yukemuri DJs, DJ SARASA, and other gorgeous DJs.
Artists such as Heisei retro collector Melo Yamashita and influencer lilly also participated. The event was held over two days, and about 7,000 snowers enjoyed Ishiuchi Maruyama in the mid-March sunny spring weather with classic songs of the era.

There are two DJ booths at the foot of the ski resort and one at the end of Ishiuchi Maruyama's famous combination lift "Sunrise Express Lift". From the DJ booth at the end of the Sunrise Express lift, you can enjoy music while overlooking the view of the Uonuma Plain.

On the second day, TRF DJ and leader DJ KOO appeared. These days, he often appears on TV and radio, but on this day he was able to see his main job as a DJ, so many fans flocked to see him.

From TRF's famous songs such as EZ DO DONCE and BOY MEETS GIRL to popular songs representing the 90's such as Ayumi Hamasaki and Ami Suzuki, skiers and snowboarders of all ages were excited and the snowy mountains became one.

ISHIUCHIMARUYAMA RETRO SNOW STYLE was a great success as an event that everyone can enjoy. As a means of seeking newness in the old, it became an event that made me feel that the snow industry still has the potential to thrive.
