If you want to enjoy summer skiing in Kyushu, head to Fukuoka
THE KINGS FUKUOKA is the only mat jump facility in Kyushu where you can practice jumps for skiing and snowboarding
The approach to the jumps uses "Summer Snow," a special nylon artificial turf that replicates the feeling of gliding on snow. An air mat is provided for landing, allowing even beginners to practice with peace of mind. Three sizes of kickers are available: 2m, 6m, and 10m, allowing riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, to progress at their own pace
Unusually for a summer ski facility, it offers night skiing every day. This is thoughtful of allowing office workers who ski after work, as well as visitors from far away, to practice without worrying about the time
For first-time users, we recommend the "Trial KINGS(reservations required)" package. This includes free rental of board sets, protective gear, and approximately two hours of one-on-one instruction from a staff member. Before your visit, be sure to check out the introductory video to get an idea of the day's flow, from check-in to your first time on the kicker.
