Enjoy a refreshing cruise on the main Hikage slopes in summer

The Hikage slope, one of Nozawa Onsen's signature ski areas, is the setting for summer skiing. Enjoying summer skiing at the bottom of a ski resort close to the hot spring town is convenient and easy, making it a great option even for beginners

The next-generation snow mat "PIS LAB," laid along the Hikage Forlift, allows you to enjoy skiing with a feel close to real snow. The course is a generous 30m wide and 500m long, making it exhilarating for high-speed turns with large turns. With a maximum slope of 27°, it offers plenty of challenging runs. It's also ideal for practicing carving turns and freestyle tricks

Enjoy Nozawa Onsen during the green season

The summer slope is located on the Hikage slope at the bottom of the ski resort, but if you take the Nagasaka Gondola to Kaminodaira Picnic Garden, it's very cool even in the middle of summer and you can relax while looking at wildflowers and other flowers

If you want to spend the green season in Nozawa Onsen actively, we recommend mountain biking. The dynamic course that makes use of the slopes of the slopes is about 10km long and is very impressive. You can ride as far as Hikage slope, which is about 700m above sea level

The wild courses that take advantage of the undulating terrain of the winter ski slopes are extremely popular

Speaking of Nozawa Onsen, the main attraction is the hot springs. A tour of the village's 13 outdoor baths offers a charming summer atmosphere. It's also fun to stroll around the hot spring town in a yukata robe
