Big jump with a unique safety system
SLAB OUTDOORPARK TATEYAMA is renowned for its meticulously designed jump ramps and landing mats that allow you to improve your skills. This facility allows you to practice difficult tricks, such as jumps and jibs, on snowboards and freestyle skis, regardless of the season
The air mat landing system used dispels any doubts you may have, such as "Is it really safe to jump that high?" The uniquely designed, sloping air mat absorbs the impact of the jump and deflects it in the direction of travel, making it a carefully designed safety feature

Subdivided jump platform
There are four types of kickers in total, including a small size for beginners and advanced skiers, and a mid-size for beginners and intermediate skiers, with a unique size called the "Hawk Kicker" in between. It's the perfect size for beginner-intermediate skiers to improve their skills and solidify their foundations. This kicker is known for its ease of flight, with a distance of about 5-7m. The "BANGER" is aimed at advanced skiers, with a distance of almost double that, at about 14-18m. This jump hill is one of the best in Japan in terms of both distance and floating feel, allowing you to practice more complex tricks

The vast facility area also includes a "Jib Zone" and "Free Run Zone" with a wide variety of items, as well as a "Gravity Lane" where beginners can take brush lessons and practice freestyle tricks, and parents and children can go sledding together
Non-skiers can also enjoy
One way to enjoy the event is to pitch your tent early at the powered auto camping site, which can be used even if you're not skiing, and cheer on your family and friends performing jumps and tricks from the bleachers, with a selection of carefully selected coffee and homemade sweets from the adjacent "groovy cafe." In the evening, you can chat around the bonfire or enjoy a lively meal in the BBQ space, where you can use the stove freely

Various great events
Every Wednesday is "Ladies' Day," where you can ski all day for the price of one session, all drinks on the cafe menu are 300 yen, and rentals and showers are free. Also, every Saturday, there is a great "FIRST CHALLENGE" event for first-time users, where rental fees, skiing fees, brush training, jump lessons, and showers are all included for a flat rate of 2,200 yen.
There are also plenty of other great and fun events, such as night sessions and beginner support campaigns.
