Born in 1993 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He started skiing at the age of 10 on family trips, and joined the alpine ski club in junior high and high school. After entering university, he met freeskier Chikara Nakajima and discovered freeriding. The winter before starting work, he stayed with Takuma and Tomomi Oike at Lodge Chamingo in Hakuba Norikura to compete in his first competition. This encounter left him fascinated with the Japanese freeriding scene, and he continued competing in competitions even after starting work. He then moved to Hakuba in 2022 to focus on freeriding. In 2023, he competed in the Challenger for the first time. From 2024, he will be based in Innsbruck, Austria for a year, where he will take on the Challenger for the second time
