Takeru Ogawa
He lives in Omachi, Nagano Prefecture. He first encountered skiing during his university years and became obsessed with it after watching the mogul competition at the Lillehammer Winter Olympics. After graduating, he participated in a summer mogul camp in the US. He then moved into a shared house in Hakuba and lived the life of a ski bum. While competing in official mogul competitions, he was introduced to freeskiing, which had evolved around the world, and became even more interested in freestyle skiing. However, suddenly, wanting to look at skiing from a broader perspective, he left the mountains for the city and entered the world of media. He spends his days commuting between Tokyo and the snowy mountains, immersed in editing for publications such as BRAVOSKI and FallLine. He returned to the Hakuba area when his children grew up. He now spends his weekends accompanying his children on ski trips, while also continuing to ski in his spare time
