Now, HOJI has finally produced what 4FRNT skiers have been asking for for years: a camber ski that offers downhill performance with a comfortable weight for touring. Developer HOJI has named this new model "Cue the NEVAR (Let's flip the Raven)."
Its appeal lies in its balanced flex and camber underfoot, which maintains ample edge hold and maximum stability even in hard, unpredictable snow. Furthermore, when quick response and slash speed are needed, the fast tip and tail rise allow for easy and efficient release from turns. This ski balances 4FRNT's award-winning river camber ski selection, and is designed to appeal to an even wider range of skiers.
This season's model features original whiteroom prototyping graphics for test marketing. Due to the layup process, each ski will have slight visual differences. Sales in Japan will begin on the 25th/26th, but test rides will be available at various shops during the '24-25 season. Be sure to try them out!
4FRNT SKI began in 2002 when Matt Star-Benz, a rider from the East Coast who was active in Level1 Films movies and freeskiing competitions such as the US Open, started making skis in his garage with the idea of creating his own original skis. 4FRNT SKI has grown into a true riders' company, with fellow pros who supported Matt creating and selling their own signature models.
Currently, the MSP models are manufactured at Elan's factory, which boasts top-quality manufacturing worldwide. Models other than the MSP models are still handmade. Since the time when Jason Levinsol, the founder and former president of J SKI and LINE, managed 4FRNT, each ski has been carefully made one by one at the Cote Pea factory in Toronto, Canada. With innovative ideas and designs for powder, park, and all-around skis, each ski has consistently attracted attention in the freeskiing world.
