Introducing the new "STORMRIDER 108" model with a modern design
The popular freeride series "STORMRIDER" now includes a long-awaited 108mm waist model. With the addition of this model to the existing 88, 95, and 102mm models, the lineup is now robust with a total of four models covering a wide range of situations
This model was developed in collaboration with Swiss athlete Maxime Chabloz , the brand's first freeride contract rider . He rose to prominence during his junior years, winning his first Freeride World Tour title in 2022. He followed that up with a runner-up finish in 2023, and is known as a "two-sport" athlete, having also won a world title in kitesurfing. Responding to his diverse demands, honed on the big mountains, this is a noteworthy model that embodies his motto, "Polyvalence is the key to success."
▼A breathtaking ride that needs no explanation of its specifications
Its most distinctive feature is the adoption of a short radius of around 16m, which is unusual for a 108mm class ski, thanks to a meticulous revision of the sidecut. As a "powder ski that can turn," it exhibits high maneuverability in deep snow, tree runs, and narrow ravines. It is a modern design that is well-suited to contemporary freeriding, allowing you to freely enjoy the ever-changing landscape of the entire mountain

While offering nimble handling, the STÖCKLI's signature high-quality ride remains intact, with excellent stability at high speeds, a grippy grip on the snow surface, and a smooth, non-bounce feel. Throughout the series, the high level of refinement is evident, making it a truly "premium freeride for adults."
The top sheet uses "Titec," a beautiful titanium-aluminum material, instead of the laminate material used for bases. By printing the design directly onto the titanium layer, it enhances protection, texture, and lightness, while also significantly contributing to improved stability in deep snow and enhanced grip on hard snow surfaces

Series Lineup

The "LASER SX" has a structure that allows you to enjoy two different sensations
For the 25-26 season, the LASER series underwent drastic weight reduction across all models. While gaining popularity in Japan as a recreational ski, the 26-27 season saw a revamped flex balance for the "LASER SX," a middle-to-long-turn model that strongly inherits the DNA of ski cross. By slightly softening the flex at the tip, turn initiation and transitions are smoother, the tip is less prone to instability on rough slopes, and the strain on the body is reduced. At the same time, the rigidity underfoot has been strengthened, improving edge grip, acceleration in the latter half of turns, and stability at high speeds
Furthermore, the "Turtle Shell 2.0," which automatically adjusts flex according to snow conditions and speed, and the lightweight "Piste Core Light" work together synergistically. This results in a ride that allows for smooth cruising at low speeds and a racing feel at high speeds, combining two contrasting characteristics within a single ski
The traditional Stockli skis have been softened from their previous "fast, precise, but finicky" image, evolving into an easy-to-handle all-around carving model that's less demanding than the GS models. The waist width has also been increased by 4mm compared to previous models, further expanding their versatility in various skiing conditions

The "MONTERO AR" enhances all-around performance
The "MONTERO AR" is an all-mountain model that allows you to freely enjoy the entire ski resort, from on-piste to off-piste. For the 26-27 season, the metal layout has been changed, and the titanal, which was previously only on the top layer, is now a two-layer structure. The upper metal has notches, and the lower metal uses full titanal, dramatically improving stability at high speeds and torsional rigidity. It exhibits overwhelming edge-holding performance that will keep you "on the rail" even on icy slopes
On the other hand, one might expect that increased rigidity would reduce maneuverability at low speeds, but thanks to the cleverly placed titanium, sliding and turning are incredibly agile. The ease of handling at low speeds remains a notable feature

BRAND features
The company was founded when founder Josef Stockly made his own wooden skis as a hobby from scrap wood at the construction company run by his parents. Later, he received orders for skis from friends, and in 1935 he founded the ski brand company "Stockly AG." Josef's original idea led to the creation of the world's first laminated wood skis, combining hickory and ash with screw-in steel edges, and in 1957 he created metal skis incorporating an idea from Head. In 1965, he introduced the world's first plastic compound skis
Since 1986, the company has been producing skis in Malters, a suburb of Lucerne, Switzerland, and produces and sells over 60,000 skis per year. With over 80 years of experience and technical expertise cultivated in the racing and development departments, the company's 80 employees produce the best skis
