Adopting "Partex," a new material that replaces eVent
Ms Palisade Down Insulator Jacket
In the United States, laws have been enacted requiring clothing companies to stop using materials and fabrics containing PFAS chemicals. Given that the eVent fabric that STRAFE had previously used also contained PFAS, STRAFE has adopted Pertex as a replacement for eVent material starting from the 2025-2026 season
PFAS-free alternatives have only recently begun to be developed, and some companies offer superior products compared to others. Pertex, in particular, offers an excellent product. In fact, in North America, Pertex has a higher brand recognition and reputation than eVent
This new option not only improves the product's waterproofness and durability, but also offers the advantage of being able to use other Pertex materials. For example, Pertex® Quantum DIAMOND FUSE | NetPlus®. This material is extremely durable due to its special structure and has a very soft feel, yet it is made from recycled commercial fishing nets. STRAFE has adopted this environmentally conscious material in its "Palisade Down Jacket" (pictured above), which is attracting attention, mainly in North America

STRAFE OUTERWEAR was founded in 2010 by twin brother athletes John and Pete Gaston in Colorado, USA. The two brothers shared the belief that "to enjoy skiing all day, you need snowwear that is breathable, insulated, fits your body well, and is easy to move in, no matter the weather," and they loved exploring new things
Actively incorporating new materials and technologies, they develop high-performance apparel that can withstand all weather conditions. They offer modern apparel without compromising on quality or performance. Since the 2019 season, domestic distribution has been started by Powwave (now Buffalo Bills), which owns the freeski pro shop "Black Diamond" and handles 4FRNT skis.
