The freeride competition "Chanmero Freeride" has been held in Hakuba Valley for the past two seasons. It is
a grassroots competition that has been built up by participants and by skiers who are rooted in Hakuba Norikura Onsen, Happo-one, and Iwatake.
Chanmero Freeride is planning a junior training camp for the 2023-2024 season.
Skiers and snowboarders from 4th grade elementary school to 3rd grade high school will gather under one roof, eat from the same pot, and immerse themselves in freeriding for two days and one night. The camp is aimed at kids who can ski anywhere on the ski resort and want to start freeriding, or who want to get more into freeriding.
The coaching riders are so impressive that even adults will want to join in. You'll experience a fun experience that you wouldn't get if you were just skiing as usual
