Hoshino Resorts Bandaisan Onsen Hotel: Check-out at 2pm for skiers first!

Hoshino Resorts Bandaisan Onsen Hotel is located on the slopes of the southern area (formerly Alts Bandai) of Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain, which has joined two ski resorts this season and boasts one of the largest scales in Japan. As a hotel directly connected to the ski resort, the hotel has been offering skiers a convenient service since the 2018-19 season. This winter, all rooms are now available for check-out at 2 p.m. at no extra charge

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, meaning you can stay at the hotel for up to 22 hours. There's also a "first ride" service available exclusively to guests, allowing you to start skiing 15 minutes before regular opening hours. You can enjoy the freshly packed snow in the best conditions. After your morning skiing session, you can return to the hotel and relax, perhaps soaking in the hot springs

They also offer a plan that offers better deals the longer you stay. If you plan to ski all the way to the northern area (formerly Nekoma), a two-day stay would be a waste. The surrounding tourist areas are only a 30-minute drive away, so it's recommended for not only skiing and snowboarding but also winter sightseeing in Aizu. This plan offers a 20% discount for two nights, a 30% discount for three nights, and a 40% discount for five consecutive nights

Hangout is a gathering place where you can talk with friends about the day's skiing

New this winter is the Hangout, a community space where you can chat while watching videos of the day's skiing and making plans for the next day. Enjoying a drink and snacks is one of the best parts of a snow trip. There's also a drying room for your ski wear and a free wax bar, so you can be sure you're in top condition for the next day

Bandaisan Onsen Hotel offers a wide range of activities to make your stay enjoyable even in bad weather such as a blizzard. You can experience the history and culture of Aizu through activities such as the heated pool, "Aizu Tewassa" where you can paint Aizu's local toys, and "Yagen Kocheru Cha" where you can make your own original herbal tea

Why not visit it together with Nekoma Mountain, which is a hot topic this season?
