The third chapter of "The Ghost Resort," a video series by Blackcrows that explores abandoned ski resorts, has been released
The setting for this film is Japan. During the ski boom that hit Japan in the 1990s during the bubble economy, ski resorts opened all over the country and were bustling with skiers every day. With the boom now over, the film focuses on ski resorts that have gone out of business, making viewers think about the current and future state of skiing in Japan
The film also includes footage of ski resorts around the country during the Bubble Era, some of which may now bring back fond memories. Skiers who don't remember the ski boom will be surprised to see so many skiers at their familiar ski resorts, something they wouldn't imagine today.
