The BOA® Fit System's performance has been scientifically proven to improve! | Ski boots with the BOA® Fit System are the hot topic for the 2023-2024 season

Alpine ski boots equipped with the BOA® Fit System have suddenly become a hot topic in the 2023-24 season models. A total of 26 models have been released from four brands: K2, FISCHER, ATOMIC, and SALOMON. Some have already pre-ordered and received theirs, while others are looking forward to receiving them. They have already been featured on STEEP, and we have also received impressions from guides who tested them on the snowy mountains last season. If you're interested, check out the link below

Guides have also given it positive reviews, citing the unique fit of the BOA® fit system and its ease of use even in harsh conditions

We've just announced that the superiority of the BOA® Fit System, the first to be installed in an alpine boot, has been scientifically proven. Scientific data has demonstrated its superior performance compared to traditional buckle-type boots. The key differences are clearly seen in "improved pressure distribution" and "improved responsiveness and power transmission during turns." While reducing peak pressure on the top of the foot by 13%, the wire-tightening system provides a precise, uniform fit that can be adjusted to the millimeter. Furthermore, peak sole force increased by up to 6% and force generation rate at turn initiation improved by 10%

It took more than five years from development to product release, and top skier Benjamin Reich, an alpine skier who has won multiple Olympic and World Championships, participated in the snow tests. Performance on snow was measured, and the data was now released

The BOA® fit system, which began with snowboard boots, has now been incorporated into alpine boots. The video also features the H+i1 system developed for alpine boots, as well as a video featuring freeskier Sam Kutsch, a K2 and BOA® athlete. Be sure to check it out
