Faction Skis '22-23 Collection Launches

Three new series have been released: " Mana ," " Dancer ," and " La Machine

already been featured on the STEEP gear catalog page, has been launched worldwide. The highlight of this season is the debut of three series: Mana , Dancer , and La Machine

 

" Mana " series

The Mana is a twin-tip backcountry ski that's perfect for backcountry and all-mountain skiing. Designed for lightweight and precise handling, it's reinforced with durable edges and a carbon/rubber stomp pad underfoot. The result is a ski that's great for floating, cutting through spray, and landing powerfully. There are five models in total.

" Dancer " series

These flat-tail all-mountain freeride skis feature an ultra-thin, two-layer metal construction for exceptional stability and perfect balance. They offer unparalleled stability even at high speeds. The wide rocker at the tip and tail ensures excellent buoyancy even on soft snow. Eight models are available

 

" La Machine " series

The lightest backcountry free-touring ski in the entire collection, designed for backcountry enthusiasts. The long taper and rocker shape create a floating feel, making turns easy in all snow conditions. It also makes it easy to shift and pivot on rough slopes. Five new models have been added

 

New models have also been announced for other series. The " Prodigy " series has added a model with neon-colored artwork by Parade Studio. It's sure to stand out on the snow.

The Outcast series pays homage to Faction's freeskiing roots with a lineup of monoskis, new split monoskis, and mogul-specific skis.
Additionally, some models have been made lighter, and new lengths have been added to key models.

The " X " series celebrates women in skiing. It has the same structure as the unisex model, but features a different length and topsheet coloring.

 

Focus on environmentally friendly technology

95% of the 2022-2023 models are manufactured in Austria. The core wood of the skis is made from sustainable wood harvested from partners certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Other raw materials are sourced close to the factory to reduce CO2 emissions associated with transportation. The
topsheet, base, and sidewalls are made from plant-derived bio-based resins and recycled materials, demonstrating the company's commitment to making skis that are thoroughly environmentally friendly.
