Japan's largest sports television station, J SPORTS*1), has announced that it will broadcast/stream*2 all WFT (Freeride World Tour) events for the 2021-22 season, as well as the FWQ4* tournament, TOYO TIRES FREERIDE HAKUBA, to be held in Hakuba
FWT is the world's most prestigious freeride ski and snowboard competition, where competitors ski down rugged, bare, natural terrain as they please, and are judged on their line-taking, technique, style, and more. Since its official launch in Japan in 2017, the aggressive performances of top riders from Japan and abroad tackling technical slopes have inspired many, and sparked interest in freeride
Furthermore, it is a very meaningful tournament that has conveyed the appeal of Japan's high-quality powder snow and abundant nature to the world through the performances of the athletes at the host venue.
FWT has always attracted a lot of attention from freeride fans, and the 2021-2022 season will see top Japanese rider Yu Sasaki participating in the FWT, making it even more must-see than usual!

[What is the Freeride World Tour (FWT)]
The first FWT tournament was held in Switzerland in 1996, and its scale has expanded as the number of freeride fans has increased. It is now the world's largest and only freeride world tour.
