A spectacular New Year's holiday at the world-famous snow resort: Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu special event

People from all over the world flock to the Niseko area of ​​Hokkaido in search of Japan's famous powder snow, "JAPOW."
Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu will be holding a New Year's event at the base of the mountain. On the night of New Year's Eve and the morning of New Year's Day, events that allow you to experience Japanese traditions will be held.

[12/31] A collaboration of over 1,000 fireworks and Yotei Taiko drums

This is an increasingly popular collaboration between fireworks and Japanese drums.
The Yotei Taiko drums, an intangible folk cultural asset designated by Kutchan Town, beat out a powerful rhythm that echoes the light and roar of the fireworks, and the more than 1,000 fireworks that light up the night sky are so powerful that they feel like tens of thousands of fireworks.

Before or after your apres ski trip or an event, you'll want to stop by ALPEN NODE, a newly opened facility in front of the Ace Gondola mountain base station that brings together a brewery, restaurant, and shop.
Inside the facility, POWDERHOOD RESTAURANT & TAPROOM is a large restaurant with 240 seats and a standing area, where you can enjoy food and drinks accompanied by music. You'll have a great time with people from all over the world who have come to enjoy the snow.

【1/1】Celebrate the New Year with "New Year's Day Kagami-biraki Ceremony and Free Sake"

On the morning of New Year's Day, there will be an event in front of the Ace Gondola, where a Kagami-biraki ceremony and free sake will be held to celebrate the New Year.
Kagami-biraki is a traditional Japanese event in which the lid of a sake barrel is likened to a "mirror" and is held to pray for harmony, health, and happiness. A limited number of original masu cups will be available on the day, and local sake made with the bounty of Hokkaido's nature will be served.

*Free drinks are available to those aged 20 or over who are not driving
