At Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, a nature wonder resort that lets you experience the natural beauty of Hokkaido, the "Ski-in Ski-out Kotatsu Lounge" will be held again this winter from December 26, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Guests can enjoy oden made with kelp broth while warming themselves in a kotatsu.
Hotalu Street is a ski-in/ski-out village with nine stores offering dining and shopping. While warming up in a kotatsu in front of the snowy scenery, guests can enjoy oden made with Hokkaido's signature kelp broth, including seafood and mountain vegetables. The
newly opened "Oden Bar" offers casual drinks before dinner, where you can order oden skewers by the skewer, as well as dashiwari sake, a combination of Hokkaido sake and oden broth packed with the delicious flavors of seafood.
Features of the Ski-in Ski-out Kotatsu Lounge
1. A ski-in/ski-out kotatsu lounge with warm lighting amidst the snowy scenery
A kotatsu table has appeared on the open terrace of Hotaru Street. Located halfway up the slope, you can ski or snowboard right up to the front of the store.
This winter, lights will be installed on the terrace and kotatsu at night. In a space filled with warm light, including the light from the snow, you can enjoy oden and drinks with family and friends.
2. The new "Oden Bar" is perfect for casual after-ski fun. [New]
This winter, an oden bar will be opening inside the cafe and bar "Tsukino." They will be serving oden skewers made with seafood and wild vegetables, along with Hokkaido sake, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. The oden skewers, which can be ordered individually, come in a variety of combinations, including shrimp, salmon, and wild vegetables like butterbur and bamboo shoots. We recommend enjoying the oden skewers with dashi-wari sake, which is made with oden broth flavored with kelp. You can spend your après-ski time savoring Hokkaido-style oden and alcoholic beverages
