The first "Karakoram Expedition, Pakistan" was held in March 2023, and the second in March of this year. In addition to the three original members, Sasaki Daisuke, Saeki Iwao, and Nakagawa Shinya, five new members joined: Kokubun Tomoki, Sekiguchi Masaki, Sato Yoshiyuki, Oshimi Teru, and Kono Katsuyuki. The new team of eight people took on the ambitious project of pulling a sled over 100km on a glacier at an altitude of 5,000m, and skiing down extremely steep mountains
A nationwide caravan reporting on the expedition will kick off on November 7th from the Sapporo venue. It is scheduled to be held in Hokkaido, Tokyo, and the team members' hometowns. This event will provide a detailed look at the 40-day expedition with immersive photos and video footage from the local area. Applications are currently being accepted at each venue.
