To celebrate the opening, novelty gifts and charity sales will also be held
KEEN, an outdoor footwear brand, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It has had a physical store on Cat Street in Harajuku, Tokyo since June 2012, but has now relocated to Meiji Dori, which connects Harajuku and Shibuya. The store has also been renamed KEEN GARAGE HARAJUKU

The store's exterior and interior are designed in the image of a garage and factory, and many reused materials are used. The wooden doors from the old store and conveyors from the shoe production line at the time of the renovation have been reused as in-store display fixtures, and sample shoes are displayed in the ceiling, creating a playful design
To mark the relocation and reopening, the store will set up a "shoe donation box" where wearable KEEN shoes will be collected and donated to NPOs, the store will also be selling the commemorative model "NEWPORT," created to mark the brand's 20th anniversary, and will be giving away an original 2-way tote bag with purchases of 11,000 yen or more

NEWPORT|SIZE: 26.0-29.0cm|¥20,000
"NEWPORT" will be sold for charity purposes, with the entire sales price (excluding tax) donated. Purchasers can choose from five organizations active in Japan and overseas to donate to the charity. In addition, workshops and events that will serve as the core of the community on topics such as climate change and diversity are also planned
Additionally, for three days from the grand opening on Friday, April 28th, the store will host the "KEEN Galley" in its gallery space. This will include a flower arrangement installation that combines the commemorative model "NEWPORT" with flowers and plants, a message board where visitors can participate, and a workshop where visitors can customize novelty tote bags with original stamps
