Nekoma Mountain is proud to present its special program, "Powder Deep," to make the dreams of snowboarders and skiers come true.
First of all, Nekoma's powder is something special. The light, fine snow, known as "microfine snow," is produced in the blessed natural environment of Urabandai and contains an extremely low amount of water, making it feel like you're gliding on clouds. The dry spray that rises with every turn is a special experience that can only be experienced here
"Powder Deep" is a program that allows you to enjoy the famous micro-fine snow in the "Deep Area," which is the area in the northern part of Nekoma Mountain where snow tends to accumulate the most. When a snowfall of 30cm or more is forecast, the lifts are suspended. After waiting for a plentiful amount of fresh snow to fall, the area is opened when the best conditions are met. This is a way to ensure you can enjoy deep powder
If you time it right, anyone can enjoy untouched deep powder.
The event date and time will be decided based on the snowfall forecast and announced on the official social media. The areas covered are Deep Cat Chair and Deep 1 and 2 courses. Don't miss this chance to experience the famous powder in special conditions!
