Yuto Totsuka wins gold medal in halfpipe (HP)!
On March 13, 2021, YONEX rider Yuto Totsuka (19) won the gold medal in the halfpipe finals held in Aspen, USA.
He showed off his skills as expected. Be sure to check out the video to see this world-class pipe riding.
Totsuka Yuto started snowboarding at the age of two and qualified as a professional at the age of 11.
He made a shocking debut in 2017, winning his first World Cup appearance, and went on to achieve the remarkable feat of winning the overall championship for two consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2019. He
was expected to win a medal at the Pyeongchang Olympics, but had to withdraw due to injury. However, he has since made a comeback and has once again achieved great results on the world stage.
This season, which marks the preseason for the Beijing Olympics, he is on a roll, winning the opening World Cup race held in January.

Onitsuka Miyabi wins the bronze medal in the women's big air event!

In the women's big air, Onitsuka Miyabi (Hoshino Resorts) won the bronze medal.
Murase Kokoro also did well, finishing in 6th place. In the men's competition, Tobita Ruki and Hamada Kaito finished in 4th and 5th place. They were just one step away from making it onto the podium, but they put up a great fight.
