SEATTLE, WA – October 4, 2021 – K2 Sports announced plans to integrate its Full Tilt collection of boots into the K2 product line, further refreshing it for consumers and strengthening the brand as a comprehensive part of the K2 brand for the 2022/2023 ski season. Founded in 2006 under K2 Sports, which owns eight iconic winter sports brands, the Full Tilt brand is known for its three-piece ski boot technology, its use by top athletes around the world, and its commitment to a more progressive ski culture since its inception
During the transition from the Full Tilt brand to the K2 brand, the proven 3-piece boot and the global support of the athletes who have shaped the brand over the years will continue through K2 Skis. K2 will continue to further boot innovation and promote skiing advancements and culture, now and in the future.
Team skier Tom Wallisch said, "Full Tilt boots have been on my feet for 15 years, with every X-Games medal, every video clip, and every video. I've used Full Tilt to design, create, test, and release new versions of my pro boots every year for over a decade. I'm excited about the future of K2 Boots, bringing my style to a new product line with the same mold, technology, and design, but with a new logo. Our boots will continue to deliver the looks, comfort, and performance you expect!"
The 2021/2022 winter season will be Full Tilt's final ski season in the market. Full Tilt will continue to promote product releases, provide customer service, support dealers, offer warranties and exchanges, support athletes, share exclusive content, and operate its dedicated marketing platform through spring 2022. For decades, the original three-piece ski boot design has dominated competition, brought style to the ski boot game, and delivered the results countless skiers desired. Full Tilt's role in its history has always been one of fun and embraced by a passionate community of park skiers, freestyle enthusiasts, and core ski shops
