The Patagonia Tokyo Kanda store opened in December 2000 in a back alley off Yasukuni-dori in Kanda, where large specialty sporting goods stores line the streets
In 2021, the store was reborn as Japan's first technical store, offering a wide selection of specialized gear and clothing, with experienced staff on hand to provide advice on how to choose and use them. The store offers a year-round lineup of technical products to meet a wide range of needs, from outdoor beginners to experts
The Kanda store, which also disseminates information about various activities to protect mountains and snow, will celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 22nd. To celebrate this, the store will be holding a number of anniversary events from the end of October as a kickoff event for the snow season
